You have something to share with the world that no one else can: your personal insight.

The thoughts that come to your mind are not simply for you, but can also be a blessing to others if you choose to share them. This is true for everyone, whether they identify as a “good speaker” or not. If you’re on Earth, your input is vital to others!

Thoughts are also the first method of creation, and when shared through speaking or writing, can plant a seed in another person. Those seeds have the potential to sprout into the next 2 methods of creation: words and actions. Minds, and therefore lives, can be dramatically changed by a single word or sentence. Be brave and honor yourself and others by sharing your words! That is co-creation at the most basic level: sharing of yourself to achieve an even better outcome.

Here’s an example from our lives that served as the inspiration for this blog post. A topic that comes up with frequency in our lives is the symbolic nature of video and computer games. Although we have both played our share of games, Sean is decidedly more interested and seems to have more insights about them. One day he mentioned something offhandedly that helped me gain a wider perspective about gamers. He wasn’t trying to enlighten me; he was just speaking his mind. He said, “I bet some people who play video games a lot get re-minded of the feeling – the knowing – that they have lived countless times before… at least subconsciously.” That was exactly what I needed to hear at the time, and considering it now helps me keep a better attitude about the gaming habits of kids. Had he kept that thought to himself, I might still be feeling negative about it and continuing to search for an insight to bring me understanding.

This form of surprise revelation has been happening to us a lot. A thought can sometimes feel like a trifling little thing, but it may be a Word of Knowledge for someone else. It doesn’t have to be a polished inspirational saying; just let it come from the heart.

No matter the setting or the crowd, you have something unique to give. Ignore your ego when it tries to downplay the importance of your words. Your input is vital!

We’ve made a big change and we’re so excited about it! After a few months of offering healing sessions for a cost, we feel guided to evolve to a donation system. Instead of us trying to put a price on the miracles that occur, we encourage everyone to give an amount they feel good about. This allows us to facilitate more healings, and it’s very satisfying on a personal level, too.

Lauren’s Take:
There’s been a thought in my mind that has existed as far back as I can recall. Maybe you’ve had it, too. As a child, when I was told an item was “too expensive” I would often think “Well, why do people charge so much for things? Why doesn’t everyone give everything away for free? Then we’d all have everything we want or need. Isn’t that the Golden Rule?” And that is when an adult would sigh and summarily explain, “the world doesn’t work that way”. That answer has never, and will never, satisfy me. Even today, despite knowledge about “how the world works” and hearing most people swear that evolving beyond capitalism is impossible, my heart tells me otherwise.

I don’t know all the details of how our world will make the switch to a barter system (and then eventually to just true giving), but I’ve always felt that it was both possible and necessary. In fact, this decision strikes me as so funny because I frequently catch myself saying that “money is the Old Ways and will soon make way for something better”. But when? And how? It was as if I was waiting for someone else to have a genius idea and lead the way.

You know the saying “change starts with me”. This world needs to see a new way to live: one in which all of the needs of all people are met. Regardless of one’s financial situation (or the root energetic causes for lack of abundance), I want to give of myself if I am able to help a person. I don’t want something as ephemeral and symbolic and illusory as money to stop that flow of love! It’s going to take everyone working together to make this our new reality, and I feel very honored and excited to try my hand at it.

A section in Conversations with God book 2 mentions this lofty, but achievable idea:

When the chief aim and goal of your society (as it is in all truly enlightened societies) is the survival of all; the benefit, equality, of all; the providing of a good life for all, then your need for secrecy and quiet dealings and under the table maneuverings and money which can be hidden will disappear.

The secret here, the watchword here, is visibility.

Visibility is simply another word for truth.

Can you imagine what corporations would do if they had to put two figures on every price tag – the price and their cost? Would that bring prices down, or what! Would that increase competition, and boost fair trade? … not only would you know more about each other; you would know more about everything.

It seems radical in primitive societies, yes. In enlightened societies, it seems obviously appropriate.

Well said, eh? So we’re moving ahead on faith, knowing that even though we’re just 2 people, our intention and accompanying actions are creating ripples throughout all of Creation. We’re grateful for the opportunity to hop on the burgeoning no-fee bandwagon and experience first hand what miracles come from it. While there is absolutely nothing “wrong” with charging money, having money, or wanting money, we are excited to see what the next step in our economic evolution will be.

Sean touches on some other important factors in our decision, so I will turn this post over to him now.

Sean’s Take:

When I first started playing with energy healing I felt very called to helping others heal for free. It felt like a simple truth… like it was based on love… like that’s just the way it’s “supposed to be”. Then I think I started listening to my ego and it’s fear-based ideas.

Before I get too far ahead I want to explain a bit of my history before I even considered “being a healer”. I was a teenager when the Internet came to our home back in ‘96 or so and one my favorite things about computers was that a the core truth is that software is all 1’s and 0’s. It’s all in how those 1’s and 0’s are arranged that creates the software. (I didn’t realize at the time, but it’s easy for me to see now that this concept is analogous to “everything is energy” in our physical reality.) This meant to me that any software restriction or company imposed limits has a work around. In other words, the entire functionality is there, they just wont let you use it without $$. Well I learned rather quickly that we just needed a key/serial number/etc. to unlock it. Unlock it to it’s full potential, that is. (Again, this is a perfect analogy for spiritual healing.) With a little searching it was easy to find other people who felt this way and then I read about this strange thing called open source. “Open source” just means the source code (the special arrangement of 1’s and 0’s) of a particular software is made available to the public. You know, like true sharing. There has always been a little voice in me that asks “If a person really thought their software could help the world why wouldn’t they want everyone to have it, thus benefiting the entire world?”

As the years go by, I was able to teach myself (due to “cracked” software and free online tutorials) the skills necessary to use software to create anything on the Internet that I want. I was then able to use these skills in my corporate job as well as at home to make money. Soon I got to help teach my new life partner what I learned, thus empowering her as well. That’s right, I felt empowered to have these digital insights and therefore skills. We could take them anywhere. We took them straight home and stopped working for someone else and started working for ourselves. In hindsight, I feel that we finally felt empowered enough to “make it on our own” and become our own source of income. Isn’t this what a lot of people want: to be free from someone elses rules? We did.

I started working as a mobile computer technician for anyone who asked. Now when you start working for yourself in a service based position, I thought you have to decide how much you are “worth” per hour. Sounds weird when I present it that way, but pricing has always been a facet in business. My love for everyone encouraged me to charge a small price so I could be available to all. I’m going to say that again: so my skills could be available to ALL. Then I started hearing my ego again, and other people’s fear based ideas, and they all sounded like reasonable ideas! Other people were telling me to aim high, because “I had the skills” and “businesses will pay that/are used to it” and hey I’ll admit it … I still had a fear of lack of money. So I settled on a price somewhere between my love-sponsored idea and the fear-sponsored idea.

Much of the computer work was so “easy” for me that, after a few years and a couple price increases, I felt like I was “ripping people off” again. Discussing the idea of pricing with friends and online encouraged me to “remember my worth.” So I begrudgingly stuck with my hourly price, and while I was happy to get cash for my help, I was also happy to give people discounts. Or a free visit if it seemed like someone was hurting for money, which was a sly way to get around my ego’s “need to charge”.

It was about here where I discovered energy healing and what it can do, and that there are many other people doing this. Then it happened again… I felt so much joy and love for this new toy… this new gift… that I really wanted to offer it for free! So that’s what Lauren and I each said to one another… we are going to do healings for free!

Shortly after, I followed a calling and went to the Reconnective Healing workshop. It was there that I not only witnessed and participated in miracle healings, but also got to hear, in lecture format, why we should all charge for our services. They were, and still are, great ideas for reasoning out why healing practitioners should get paid money in exchange for the facilitation of a healing. These ideas were so appealing that my ego said, “See! They are doing it for money, they probably have loads of cash, are still livin’ a satisfying spiritual life, and feel good about themselves.” So I was stoked that I was feeling good about charging $$ for a healing because of all the reasons they helped us all talk about: musicians and artists get $$ to share their “gift”, Jesus practiced equal exchange and had benefactors, these healings show results, because your time is worth it, and that customers actually say “I feel like I’m getting more by going to the person who charges more than the others that do the same thing”, and plenty more legitimate Truths.

At the deepest level though, I feel that these are all based in lack mentality: the fear that there is a lack of $$ in the world, or that if I truly gave of myself by offering free services, that God/Spirit/the Universe wouldn’t take care of me. That’s actually quite silly to think of now. ::sarcasm:: Yeah, you can work hard helping heal God’s children, but you won’t get help in retrun. ::end sarcasm:: Like God has limits … sheesh!

So after a couple months of trying to get clients, and setting my price nice and high so I am perceived as reputable – but not so high as to be unreachable – and trying to advertise, and maybe come up with discounts, rebates, and special group rates, or package deals, etc… I got tired of it. We both did. It just still didn’t feel right. Here we were offering God-given miracles: healings of body, mind, and soul, but for a fee. Although $100 is a small price to pay for a miracle healing, it still felt as though we had to “convince” others why paying us $$ was necessary. Why?

I think because we weren’t in right relationship with God. The Universe said software is free, art is free, gifts from God are free, and to “do” this work takes zero resources besides yourself, so why not share it freely? Would I not want a free healing if I was in pain, and had to “save up cash” so I could get some energy healing? Heck yes I would want it for free!

That is why I like this no-fee service plan. It feels right and true… for me.
I am now putting my trust in God, and the awesome power of the Universe to take care of all my needs as I share my God-given gifts with the world. I know that simply by sharing our true joy, the Universe will supply all the right people and situations to make sure all our needs are met. I’m done relying on the man-made system and I’m now relaxing in the comfort that our Creator knows better, and has grander things in store for me than I could possibly imagine. So here I am stepping into that truth.

And so it is. Thank you all for listening and we hope our story can help shed some light onto your journey, too All individuals, organizations, and companies, are blessings to the Earth, regardless of their payment structure or lack of. This set-up feels right for us at this point in our journey. We wish you peace in whatever phase you are in with your relationship to money.

When “manifesting”, it is often taught that one should be very specific in stating one’s goals. If I want a house with 7 bedrooms and an Olympic sized pool, then that’s what I should tell the Universe! After all, each of us is a unique Soul with unique goals. Yet we are simultaneously encouraged to let go of our expectations and to allow God to bring us something better than we could have imagined ourselves.

In our studies of the Law of Attraction, Conversations with God, and other manifesting wisdom, this seeming contradiction always showed up. We were confused and felt as if some important piece of information had been left out that would help us understand the dichotomy. Is there an ideal time to be specific about intent? When is it in our best interest to just “let go and let God”? Are we somehow supposed to be focused and unattached at the same time?

What I received is that one’s level of consciousness is the key. Variables change between the levels of consciousness, and so the “rules” change, too.

At lower levels of consciousness the ego will most likely suggest a supposed “best” interest. Being ego-based, the Soul will probably not be in full support since it has a far grander goal in mind. Imagine having a blank check, being told to enter any amount, and then filling it in for $5. Our ego minds are wonderful partners, but they are notoriously short-sighted, self-deprecating, and willing to settle for next to nothing! While we occupy lower levels of consciousness – either briefly or long-term – we are simply not capable of perceiving what our highest and best good is. The ego mind has not been quieted, and it drowns out that still small voice inside. Its various arguments for why the dream is impossible will still be quite audible and distracting. All that fear inherent in the conscious mind means that we lack the faith and gratitude necessary to manifest positive changes. Also, diligence in properly using the creative forces of thought, word, and deed will likely be missing. Even if God’s grace allows a person with a low level of consciousness to discern what goals are in her best good, they are unlikely to manifest when the 3 creative forces are not being properly applied. It is in these lower frequencies that one may be best served by simply expecting the “best possible outcome” without getting too specific. Until we are able to hear the voice of our Creator, of our higher self, it is suggested to truly “let go and let God”.

But as we increase our level of consciousness, the variables change again. This is a part of the evolution of consciousness. As our awareness grows, the time comes for us to re-member – while incarnated – how to co-create. Instead of being on the sidelines and gratefully awaiting whatever the Universe brings us, we will be active participants in co-creating our new realities. 

At higher levels of consciousness the ego no longer runs the show, so to speak. This quieting of the conscious mind makes it possible for the Soul’s true desires to be heard. In this scenario, the Soul and the ego mind can be teammates, working to achieve the same goal. This spiritual support fosters a sense of inner peace, making progress towards the goals even easier. The first-hand experience we have gained by this time shouts encouragement to us, replacing the fearful excuses of the ego. Our self-limiting Beliefs have been replaced with a Faith that we are limitless. As experienced manifestors, the Law of Attraction will be engaged to speedily bring to us everything we have asked for: even if it is incredibly specific. In this scenario, we have reclaimed our power as co-creators and take another leap towards our personal Awakening. Yet even those with higher consciousness can simply expect “the best”, as they feel guided. It is at these levels that one can truly discern the path that is right for her, at that time.

Matthew 6:33 says it well: “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” In choosing to first develop ourselves spiritually, we automatically make our way into a higher consciousness where all things are possible. We can literally, and rapidly, manifest that 7 bedroom home of our dreams! If you want to clearly hear the voice of your higher self and to manifest a life of continual joy, seek God in whatever ways you feel called. It is from that place of conscious connection that we will always know when to be specific and when to let go.

When we discovered energy healing, reiki and Quantum Touch were all we initially knew about. Quantum Touch immediately resonated with us and served as our launching pad with healing work. We read the book, watched the workshop DVDs, and practiced daily, alone and as a team. The simplicity of this method is refreshing and the effects are undeniable. One essentially just needs to focus all of her awareness on the subject to be healed, and keep it there until her intuition says the process is complete. We both experienced some wonderful healings using that simple formula. My favorite use for the techniques involves getting more physical energy when I don’t get a full night’s rest. During a trip to visit family, I discovered that if I awake and feel tired, all I have to do is perform a self healing with the intent that the energy I receive from Source will energize me. Within 10 minutes I go from groggy to bright-eyed. It still amazes me. Quantum Touch will forever have a place in my “healing toolbox” because of this.

But QT is just one of many ways to understand our relationship to Source, and to affect healings. While we were enjoying Quantum Touch, countless other energy healing modalities appeared and piqued our interests. Whenever one called to us particularly, we would read as much as we could on the subject. The one that kept showing up in my life was Thetahealing. Named and founded by Vianna Stibal, Theta healing is much more than “energy healing“. Instead of attempting to gather, redirect, or otherwise move energy, a Thetahealing practitioner goes directly to Source for information and healings. Now when I first started reading about TH, I was frustrated by this brief description. I wanted an explanation that was concise and understandable without having to first immerse myself in Vianna’s book.  I wondered how the heck I would explain something so woo-woo to friends and prospective clients! The best insight I received is that Theta healing is not a “technique”, but a “way of being”. By entering a deeply meditative state and shifting to theta brainwaves, one is able to personally encounter God/Source/Creator. And that’s where the magic happens. The more I practice, the easier it become to “go up” and be in communication with God. This alone is huge for me, because – like everyone else – I have an ego to contend with. In past meditations I would find myself frequently frustrated by Monkey Mind and it’s chattering: “This isn’t real. You’re imagining it. God wouldn’t talk directly to you. You aren’t a healer”, etc. I think that achieving the theta brainwave state is the key. When I intend to enter theta and be with the Creator, it’s like the ego mind gets turned way down. Each time I enter theta, it just gets easier and I am less distracted by the second guessing of my ego. This is huge. This is how I knew I was on the right path.

After getting a copy of Vianna’s Thetahealing book, I went over it slowly, underlining the parts that grabbed my attention, brought up questions, or seemed to align with other concepts/techniques. (For instance, as I understand it, Thetahealing, Reconnective Healing, and the Oneness Blessing are all quite similar.) I took my time, absorbing each section piecemeal. Unlike the other “energy healing” modalities I encountered, I felt compelled to go slowly and really integrate each new piece of info. After a few weeks of reading the book and sporadically practicing just “going up” rather than commanding a healing, references to Thetahealing popped up everywhere for me. It no longer felt like something I was dabbling in, but an inescapable Soul yearning. I was determined to go further with TH. With a bank account that had really swelled over the last few months (in response to using LoA!), money was no longer a factor in my decision. When I saw a workshop listed on Vianna’s website that was one county north of me and just a few days away, I decided not to let distance be a factor either. (We use a scooter for transportation so long distances can be tricky.) I paid my $500, hopped on a train, and embarked on a 3 day workshop that changed everything for me.

It’s been less than a month since I completed the program, became a certified Thetahealing Practitioner, and made “going up” a part of my daily life. More than ever, I now see TH as a “way of being” rather than a technique or a healing modality. There are a set of techniques that beginners are encouraged to use, such as the visualization that one’s Soul leaves through the crown chakra and is “going up” to work with God on the “7th Plane of Existence“. But at the core, those are just ways for us practitioners to wrap our heads around what’s happening. Something to help the ego suspend its disbelief, because Belief is essential to affect change and to be a “healer”. And as one enters theta more, the understanding of what’s actually happening deepens. The need for those visualizations diminishes. Repeatedly spending conscious time with God has given me beautiful insights into Oneness. That’s what Thetahealing is. Allowing yourself to see the Truth: that everything is connected and we are all Divine authors of our own lives. The more I understand this, the “easier” and more apparent the results are in my Thetahealing work. An “expert” Thetahealing practitioner is like Neo at the end of The Matrix. Because he has the awareness that physical reality is simply an illusion, there is no mental block that claims “hey, physics says you can’t do that!” With that awareness, you could instantly heal an exposed broken bone as easily as you could take a breath.

This is why Thetahealing isn’t just for healing the body, mind, and Soul. In a theta state, the power of manifesting anything is dramatically increased. It can be used to augment the Law of Attraction, because it removes the mental blocks that usually get in the way when you use your conscious mind. (To use Abraham’s terminology, it removes the tree from the path of your car.) At the core of TH’s techniques, the practitioner becomes a detective that identifies those limiting Beliefs that we all hold on some level. Asking Source/intuition and/or using energy testing, you can discover all those sneaky limiting Beliefs that you acquired in this life, from your ancestors, other lifetimes, and at a Soul level. That helps explain why results are often immediate and dramatic. If you had been living your whole life with the subconscious Belief that you “do not deserve good things”, can you imagine how totally different you would be with the new Belief of  “I am worthy of all good things”? Thetahealing can swap out those old Beliefs that do not serve us, and instantly replace them with Beliefs that do. It’s like Jenga: remove the core Belief and all limitations fall away. Same thing with the Feeling work aspect of TH. Conceptually, most of us understand what “unconditional love” is… but do we know what it really feels like? Without having that Feeling as a part of our being, we can not truly understand our God, our purpose, or how to really give/receive love. We’re all missing important Feelings, which is why we experience lives that are less than perfect. At the root of every undesirable situation lies a missing Feeling and/or a Belief that is counterproductive.

One more area that TH addresses has to do with resolving “the 3 Rs” that keep us tethered to the past. As those of you who consciously use the Law of Attraction know, everything is created in the present. Time is an illusion and to create an ideal reality one must recognize that. Being in a theta state means being focused in the NOW. But in our day to day lives, most of us are stuck in the past or fearing the future. With Thetahealing, regrets, resentments, and rejections that have kept us looking to the past can be instantly removed. Using Belief and Feeling work, we are freed from worrying about the future. Together, these techniques eliminate the past-centered thoughts of “if only…” and the future-centered thoughts of  “what if…” This places us squarely back in the NOW where we reclaim our power as conscious co-Creators. That’s where the magic happens!

The final aspect of Theta Healing that I want to mention is that of DNA healing. There is a real focus on the ability to activate DNA, particularly a “Youth and Vitality chromosome” that Vianna was shown while in theta state. No matter where one is on the ascension path, the reactivation of our dormant DNA is essential. (BTW, it’s called “junk DNA” by the traditional scientific community, LOL). This is why so many Indigos, Crystals, and other incarnated Masters gravitate to Theta Healing: they know how important DNA is in the ascension process. When strings of our DNA are reconnected and reactivated, we take a giant leap in our physical and spiritual evolution. Remember X-Men and how new generations just suddenly developed an array of amazing “super powers”? In the years leading to 2012, this is what we’ll be seeing all around us! Just as binaural beats and certain music increase  brain activity, DNA healing and activation produce super-human results that can be measured by EEG. It can heal genetic diseases, reverse aging and create a state of agelessness, and awaken the psychic senses and quantum abilities that are not ruled by “time” and “space”. There are many ways to heal and awaken your DNA, and Theta Healing is an excellent choice. It’s instant and limited only by the client’s Beliefs.

While I still excitedly explore other forms of healing, Theta Healing is definitely my favorite right now. After all, it can heal or create anything. The workshop was excellent for me, but just reading the book can spark much transformative growth. There are no “coincidences” in life, just synchronicities that lead us to the best possible paths. Nearly 4 months ago we attended an event aptly called “Qi Revolution”. Hosted by Jeff Primack and his non-profit Supreme Science Qigong Foundation*, it was 4 days of intense instruction and practice. Although by this time we were familiar with qi**, we were brand new to the practice of Qi Gong. Neither of us felt particularly called to it, yet the pull to attend the workshop was strong. There were advertisements for it in all of the local New Age magazines that just seemed to leap out at us. Our intuition said it would be a powerful turning point in our lives and we decided to honor that. So despite our non-committal attitude toward Qi Gong itself we felt excited about attending the workshop. It was the first of many workshops/classes we would take on our ascension journey, and it was amazing.

The initial steps of setting aside 4 full days and paying the $140 for us both to attend felt like a victory itself! Our schedules and finances were a little less flexible 4 months ago. Or more accurately, our confidence in making those kind of self-nurturing decisions was not as strong. At the end of each day we would marvel how very much we gained for the now trivial seeming amount of time/money we put in. It paved the way for making many more decisions like this. “Not enough time or money” is a self-limiting mindset that we don’t operate in anymore, and it is so freeing!

Rather than do a day by day commentary, if you are interested in a very detailed account of the 4 days, I suggest this series of blog posts. The schedule for the San Diego workshop that we attended was the same. Instead, I’m just going to touch on the parts that really rocked us.

On the first day we did a breathing exercise while lying on our backs that they called Breath Empowerment. It’s a good name. We enjoy breath work, but this exercise did seem to break through a mental barrier, enabling us to go deeper with the practice. It’s amazing how intense just breathing can be when you are focused on doing it consciously. This method included a whole lot of rapid, deep breathing to flood your body with oxygen. All sorts of odd bodily sensations happened; tingling, humming, cramping, and feelings of being endlessly huge, strong, and purified. Afterward everyone in the auditorium was tired and hungry and Jeff explained that we could have just burned up to 1,000 calories. Yah, I know… while breathing. It was another tangible realization that we have entered a time where we can choose to receive results from intention rather than hard work. This principle is the same in every aspect of our lives from work to family to how we sculpt our bodies.

On day 2 Jeff did a demo with a 3 horsepower blender and showed us how it would easily handle things like avocado seeds, entire fruits and veggies, etc. Oh baby, he had us at the avocado seed. We decided right then that a 3hp blender was in our future. (4 months later, our 3hp Blendtec just arrived in the mail and it’s awesome for smoothies and other raw recipes. Thank you eBay and your sweet discounted prices.) One detail that was like a lightbulb for us was his comment about apple seeds. He put an entire apple into the machine and commented how each fruit is a whole package deal, meant to be eaten whole. (Excepting for the ones with protective coatings like citrus and pineapples.) As raw foodists we are used to sucking down every bit from a piece of fruit, and actually packed large bags of fruit for us to eat at breaks and at lunch. But what of the cores and seeds? We chucked them like everyone else does, not even thinking that Mother Nature, in her perfect wisdom, might have put those seeds in there for us to chow down on. Now we eat the entire fruit, loving the flavor and texture variance that seeds and cores provide. It was just a comment that he made, but every morning at breakfast I am reminded of it while I devour an apple whole!

By day 2 we were still practicing level 1 Qi Gong forms, and finally getting them down. They’re very simple movements, but the point of Qi Gong – of anything really – is to be totally conscious while doing it. The devil’s in the details, as they say. Keeping the breath in sync with the movements, keeping muscles relaxed and learning to let the qi guide the body, watching the instructors while staying aware and in your body, being aware of sensations and emotions that arise, keeping an attitude of gratitude and love… lots of things to do all at once, while it appears that you’re just slowly moving your body! At first it’s like trying to conduct a large orchestra, until it eventually becomes natural and much of it runs on auto-pilot. Each day got “easier” in that way. And it was cool to be moving in harmony with so many people…

I think it was at the end of day 2 that we had the Origins of the Universe presentation. Wow, that was another landmark for our journeys. We had been avidly reading about the various frameworks of philosophies that people have regarding, you know, Everything. We were beginning to piece things together and Jeff’s understanding of where we came from and why we’re here coalesced many things for us. It enlarged our vision, gave us new questions to ponder, and strengthened our budding understanding of a Creator who is endlessly, unconditionally loving. We may have signed up for a “qigong” workshop, but that was just the icing on the cake.

On a couple of the days we watched a high definition version of the instructional “Press on Qi” DVD series that Jeff has created. These were amazing. They added digital animations so you can see a representation of the qi energy. Until we humans are more easily able to literally see energy, I think these animations will make a very effective teaching tool. Qi is called “subtle energy” for obvious reasons, and I’ll admit that it was helpful to be able to visually see the direction of the energy in each of the qi gong postures. The production value was just really top notch overall. Well worth the cost.

The hugest thing for day 3 was the 9 Breath circle. Our chairs were all snaked around the auditorium and 300 or so people all joined hands to do the breathing for the purpose of sending healing energy. We sent it to everyone! Our loved ones, our “enemies”, children of the world, leaders of the world, to the city, the state, the entire planet, to ourselves, and to a woman on stage. We were to send loving energy to her with the intent that she reach her life’s purpose. With complete sincerity Jeff told us, “If she achieves her purpose, we all do. For All is One.” Yah, there were a lot of emotions during the 9 Breath circle.

Day 4 was just plain fun. We learned how to qi walk in stealth mode (not pulsing your arms sideways and looking odd), as well as Wuji Style. The latter is freeform Qi Gong, and using several main movements, you just piece it together in whatever way feels organic and right for you. (The swimming move is so fun, especially when you SLOW it down and do the twist!) He cautioned that Wuji is “desert” and should be done after the “dinner” of level 1/2 qi gong, but I gotta say… Wuji feels good and it calls to me while structured qi gong did not, and still does not. OK I said it. I really liked trying Qi Gong, but as a practice for cultivating energy and consciousness, it simply does not appeal to me. So I go Wuji style sometimes, and that “desert” is wonderful for me on it’s own.

The workshop closed with a presentation which sparked so many new interests and questions for us. The topic was Sacred Geometry, and as I hope will become evident in future articles, Sean just gravitated to this study and has an amazing knack for it. We learned how Fibonacci numbers and the Fibonacci spiral show up EVERYWHERE in nature and in sacred sites like the Egyptian pyramids. We heard about an experiment where Nissan tried to recreate a 1/3 scale pyramid in the 1970’s and failed so hard, yet the Coral Castle was said to have been easily built by 1 man using the “technology” that built the Egyptian pyramids. Jeff told us about the healing to be found in drawing and coloring your own mandala. With each new piece of information, our world expanded like a flowering lotus. It was a perfect ending to an incredibly transformational 4 days.

The goal is to get everybody to the workshops to introduce them to the forms and concepts, then if they feel guided and have the money, they can purchase instructional DVDs and books… which are not so cheap, yet worth the cost

**”Qi” has been known by many names throughout the world and over time. Chi, life force energy, cosmic energy, manna, prana, are just some of them.

“You don’t even know you don’t know…”

Talk about seed planting. We saw the original What the Bleep movie in theatres back in the Autumn of 2004. Everything presented was new to us and we struggled to piece things together. We walked out glad we saw it, but confused as to why it was raved about and recommended to us as such an “amazing, life changing” movie. We knew nothing at the time about quantum reality so we weren’t even sure if it was sci-fi, documentary, or parts of both! It was a fun ride, though.

Some of the seeds planted during our first viewing of the movie only started to sprout several years later. When The Secret got huge, we remembered how What the Bleep talked about “creating your own reality”. When affecting things at a distance – energy healing, Qi pushing/pulling, etc. – presented itself in our lives, we recalled something in the movie about quantum physics being able to explain those otherwise unexplainable concepts. When channeled information finally became a part of our framework for understanding the universe, we remembered JZ Knight/Ramtha’s existential contributions in the movie with interest instead of just a giggle.

When my holistic chiropractor introduced me to Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) that “releases emotion stored in the body”, the cartoon scenes of the colorful dancing blobs began to materialize in my mind’s eye (see image at right). When we learned that the true quality of water is highly dependent on it’s cellular memory – what happened to that water before it got to us – we recalled with amazement the beautiful crystal patterns of Dr. Emoto’s “loved” water shown in the movie. When “ascension into the 5th dimension” became a phrase we were hearing everywhere, I tried so hard to recall what Bleep mentioned about other dimensions. (Note: Down the Rabbit Hole includes a final cartoon that explains 5D as best as anything can right now. So helpful!)

So even though our first viewing felt like it went way over our heads – and it did – it served as a launchpad for many great future realizations. Life is like that

To continue this chain of beautiful synchronicities, in early 2008 I was at the library and saw a DVD that sounded intriguing. Dr. Joe Dispensa’s “Mastering the art of Observation“: a 60 minute presentation that proposed that “becoming a skilled observer may empower us to exercise a greater degree of mind over matter”.  I remembered Dr. Dispensa from What the Bleep as the guy who said he creates his reality every morning. I scooped that DVD up so freaking fast and we watched it that night. Production value aside (that aspect is MST3K worthy), the scientific explanation of mind over matter was amazing and it left us hungry for elaboration and practical ways to apply it. That’s when we found out that a new version of What the Bleep had been released and that it contained hours of extra footage. Score!

Questions like who am I, where did I come from, what should I be doing, why am I here, where am I going, etc. are the biggest questions we will ever have. What the Bleep Down the Rabbit Hole helped give us some insight on them. But better than that, it raised even more questions! (Cuz you know you’re on the right trail when you find more questions than answers.) I might even say that the movie helped us better form those questions and to begin to see how they are all inter-related. Nothing is random, nothing is outside the scope of anything else. Truly, All is One. You’re asked in the beginning of the movie “how much about your true nature do you really want to know”? Well, it came at a time in our lives when we were ready to throw ourselves head first down that rabbit hole, and we’re so thankful we did…

Where this movie really excelled for us is it’s accessibility. Sean’s and my mind work similarly: very logical and analytical, yet appreciating the right brain stimulation of a fun “how to”. We both latched onto the format of having quite detailed interviews being interspersed with scenes of “drama” that gave examples of how the concepts looked in real life. The visualizations it provides for concepts that otherwise felt impossible to understand were also invaluable! The colorful blobs of emotion really brought the point home about the chemical dependency we all exist in with respect to our emotional states. The Dr. Quantum in Flatland cartoon at the end was invaluable for helping us wrap our head around 5D. We know what height, width, depth, and time are like, but what will the 5th dimension look like? (Answer: we don’t know. We can’t even imagine yet, but it’s going to be amazing.)
